The Ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution is a strong weekly at-home peel made for dullness, congestion, and rough texture. Thirty percent alpha hydroxy acids resurface the top layer while two percent salicylic acid clears out pores.

This is an experienced-user product. It is not a starter exfoliant and it is not for sensitive skin.

Application

How to use it

1 Apply to clean, dry skin at night, avoiding the eye area.
2 Leave on for a maximum of 10 minutes.
3 Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.
4 Follow with a plain moisturizer and no other actives.
5 Use no more than twice a week, and patch test before your first use.

Routine placement

Peel night, twice weekly at most: Cleanser → AHA 30% + BHA 2% for 10 minutes → Rinse → Moisturizer

Every other night: Cleanser → Toner → Serum → Moisturizer

On peel nights, drop every other active. This is not a product to layer.

Realistic expectations

Day 1

Skin looks brighter immediately after rinsing.

Week 2 to 3

Blackheads and congestion visibly reduce.

Week 4 to 6

Texture smooths out.

This is the most misused product we stock. It is a 10-minute rinse-off treatment, not a serum, and using it more than twice a week will damage your barrier faster than it will fix your texture.

Avoid if your skin is sensitive, peeling, or compromised.
Avoid if you are new to acid exfoliation.
Do not use with retinol, azelaic acid, or the glycolic toner on the same night.
Avoid on broken skin or open blemishes.
Stop using if irritation continues.
