Information we collect

Depending on how you interact with Routisca, we may collect:

Order details, purchased products, order value, payment status and delivery history.
Messages, support enquiries, reviews, complaint evidence and unboxing videos.
Information needed to process a refund, such as a bKash number or bank-account details.
Device, browser, IP address, cookie, website-interaction and approximate-location information.
Advertising and attribution information from Meta, Google and similar platforms.
Fraud-prevention, order-risk and courier-delivery information.
Marketing preferences and consent records.
Any other information you voluntarily provide.

We do not need or request your mobile-banking PIN, card PIN, OTP or account password.

Order communications and marketing

Order confirmations, verification calls, courier updates, payment notices, return updates and safety communications are transactional messages. They may be sent where necessary to fulfil an order even when you have opted out of promotional marketing.

Promotional messages may be sent through SMS, email, WhatsApp or other channels where you have consented, where the communication is otherwise legally permitted, or where an existing-customer relationship allows it.

You may opt out of promotional communication at any time by replying with the available opt-out instruction, contacting Routisca or using an unsubscribe link where provided.

Opting out of promotional messages will not prevent necessary order or service communications.

Cookies and analytics

Routisca and its service providers may use essential, functional, analytics and advertising cookies or similar technologies.

These technologies may be used to keep the website functioning, remember preferences, analyze website traffic, measure conversions, prevent fraud and personalize advertising.

Non-essential cookies should be activated based on the consent choices available through the website’s cookie banner or settings, where required.

Service providers and data sharing

Routisca does not sell customer personal information to advertisers.

Shopify and website-hosting or ecommerce providers.
Courier and fulfilment companies.
SMS, telephone, email and WhatsApp communication providers.
SSLCommerz or another payment provider when online payments are enabled.
Meta, Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity and other analytics or advertising platforms.
Klaviyo or another email and customer-communication platform.
Fraud-prevention, technical-support, accounting or professional-service providers.
Government, regulatory or law-enforcement authorities where legally required.

These providers may process data under their own terms and privacy notices.

International processing

Some technology and service providers may process or store information outside Bangladesh.

Where cross-border processing occurs, Routisca will take reasonable steps to use established service providers and handle information in accordance with applicable law.

Data retention

Routisca retains information only for as long as reasonably necessary for order fulfilment, support, fraud prevention, accounting, tax, dispute resolution and legal compliance.

Transaction and business records may be retained for at least six years or for any longer period required by applicable law.

Marketing information may be retained until consent is withdrawn or the information is no longer required, subject to necessary suppression records that prevent further unwanted marketing.

Google Sign-In

Routisca offers Google Sign-In as an optional method for customers to create or access their Routisca account. When you use Google Sign-In, Routisca may receive basic account information provided by Google, such as your name and email address, for account creation, authentication, and account management purposes. We do not use Google Sign-In to access your Gmail, Google Drive, Google Photos, or other unrelated Google account data.

Security

Routisca uses reasonable organizational and technical measures to protect personal information.

No internet-based service is completely secure. Customers should avoid sharing passwords, OTPs or financial credentials and should notify Routisca if they suspect unauthorized use of their information.

Your rights and choices

Subject to applicable law, you may request that Routisca:

Confirm whether your personal information is being processed.
Provide access to information held about you.
Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
Delete information that is no longer required, where deletion is legally permitted.
Stop or restrict certain marketing use.
Record the withdrawal of consent.
Explain or review a privacy concern.

Some information cannot be deleted immediately where it must be retained for transaction records, fraud prevention, legal claims, tax, accounting or other lawful purposes.

Children

Routisca does not knowingly accept orders directly from children under 18 without appropriate parent or guardian involvement.

This Privacy Policy may be updated when services, legal requirements or data-processing practices change. The current version will be published on the website with its revision date.
