Finely ground oat kernel flour and sweet almond seed meal do the buffing; kaolin clay pulls congestion out of pores. Used as a thicker layer left on for a few minutes, it doubles as a weekly mask.

Oat seed water at 92,000ppm and oat kernel flour at 21,000ppm carry the formula, with panthenol, squalane and sodium hyaluronate crosspolymer keeping skin from feeling stripped afterwards. In brand clinical testing it removed 91.47% of sunscreen residue and reduced transepidermal water loss by 12.93%. Application

How to use it

1 As a cleanser, take a small amount and lather in wet palms.
2 Massage onto damp skin in light circles, avoiding the eye area.
3 Rinse with lukewarm water.
4 As a mask, apply a thicker layer to damp skin and leave 3 to 5 minutes before rinsing.
5 Use the cleanser morning and night, and the mask no more than twice a week.
6 Follow with toner and moisturizer.

It says gentle, so why does it list alcohol?

Alcohol denat sits mid-list as a formulation aid, not a drying agent, and it rinses off. We flag it anyway because if you filter for alcohol-free you deserve to know before you buy, not after.

Will it remove sunscreen?
