Most sunscreens that dry down matte get there with alcohol denat, and that is exactly what dehydrated and reactive skin cannot tolerate. This one uses filters and texture instead, so it stays wearable on the skin types usually forced into a greasy alternative.

Broad-spectrum SPF50+ PA++++ comes from Uvinul A Plus, Tinosorb S and M, and ethylhexyl triazone. Five ceramides — NS, NP, AS, AP and EOP — plus panthenol, bisabolol and centella support the barrier alongside the UV protection. Vegan, hypoallergenic, water resistant, and no white cast on any skin tone.

How to use it

1 Every morning, as the final step after moisturizer.
2 Use two finger-lengths for the face and neck.
3 Apply at least 15 minutes before sun exposure.
4 Reapply every two hours outdoors, and after sweating or swimming.
5 Remove at night with an oil cleanser or balm before your usual cleanser.

This is the sunscreen to pair with a strong night routine. If you are using retinol, acids or benzoyl peroxide, the ceramides and panthenol here support the barrier rather than working against it, and there is no alcohol to sting freshly exfoliated skin.

No. It uses chemical filters only, so it disappears on every skin tone.

Which sunscreen should I get, this or the La Roche-Posay Oil Control?

This one if your skin is dehydrated, sensitive, or you dislike alcohol in sunscreen. The La Roche-Posay if your skin is very oily and you want the strongest ultra-long UVA protection and a harder matte finish.

Can I use it after retinol or an acid?

Yes, and it is a good match. There is no alcohol to sting and the five ceramides support a barrier that actives have stressed.

How long will 60ml last?

At the correct two finger-lengths daily, roughly six to seven weeks for face and neck. If a bottle is lasting you three months, you are not using enough.
