La Roche-Posay Anthelios UVMune 400 Oil Control Fluid is the oily-skin version of the range built around Mexoryl 400, the filter La Roche-Posay developed to cover ultra-long UVA at 380 to 400nm. That band is missed by most sunscreens and is a real driver of pigmentation, which makes this the strongest UVA protection in the catalogue.
Silica, perlite and zinc PCA absorb sebum for a stated 12-hour matte finish, and the fluid dries down in seconds with no white cast under makeup. It is water and sweat resistant and formulated to limit eye stinging. Alcohol denat is the second ingredient and the formula lists parfum — both are what make the finish work on oily skin, and both are reasons to choose a different sunscreen if your skin is dry, dehydrated or reactive.
Made for this climate
Excellent fit for Bangladesh weather because the fluid dries down matte in minutes and holds through a humid day without sliding or pilling.
Product breakdown
Application
Routine placement
Morning: Cleanser -> Toner -> Serum -> Light moisturizer -> Anthelios UVMune 400 Oil Control
Night: Oil cleanser or balm to remove it -> Gel cleanser -> Treatment -> Moisturizer
Give your moisturizer a couple of minutes to absorb before this goes on, or the fluid will pill. Because it is drying by design, keep the moisturizer underneath hydrating rather than skipping it.
Realistic expectations
Sunscreen is the only product in your routine where the effect is invisible and the failure is permanent. Mexoryl 400 covers the 380 to 400nm band that most filters miss, and that band is a real driver of pigmentation in this climate. The catch is the price and the alcohol. If your skin is dry, dehydrated or reactive, buy the SKIN1004 sun serum or the PURITO Daily Soft Touch instead. This one is specifically for oily skin.

Authenticity
Sourced through verified importers, never grey-market resellers.
Genuine La Roche-Posay cartons carry a batch code and expiry printed in the same ink and format as the code on the bottle base, with Made in France on the carton. The bottle is a white pump with a fine, very runny white fluid that dries almost instantly to matte. A thick lotion, a screw cap, or a bottle whose batch code does not match the carton is not genuine. Note this is the Oil Control fluid, not the Invisible Fluid we also stock; check the front of the carton.

Questions, answered
Same Mexoryl 400 filter, different base. The Oil Control version adds silica, perlite and zinc PCA for a 12-hour matte finish, so it suits oily skin. The Invisible Fluid has a slightly more comfortable finish for normal to combination skin.
For oily skin, no, it is what makes the finish work. For dry, dehydrated or reactive skin, yes, and you should pick a different sunscreen. We would not recommend this one for dehydrated skin.
It is formulated to limit eye stinging and most people find it does not, but no sunscreen is completely immune to sweat carrying it into your eyes on a hot day.
Ultra-long UVA passes through window glass, which is exactly the band this filter is built for. If you sit near a window, yes.
